As has been intimated by the CHQ, the triennial XXIII National Council Meeting of the Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers shall be held in Delhi from 4th to 6th December 2009.
The Inaugural Session of the National Council meeting will be held at "Muktadhara" (Banga Sanskriti Bhawan), Bhai Vir Singh Marg, New Delhi 110001 on 04-12-09 at 2.00 P.M. The leaders of all Central Trade Unions and the Indian affiliates of the Trade Union International- Public and Allied Employees and the Organizations affiliated to TUI from Asia Pacific Regions are expected to attend the inaugural session. The Delegate Session will be held on 5th and 6th December 2009 at Gharwal Bhawan, Panchquian Road, New Delhi. The session shall start at 10 A.M. of 5th December 2009. [Nearest Metro Station Jhandewalan]
More than 200 Delegates representing 12 lakhs Central Government Employees working in various Departments are expected to converge for detailed deliberations of the issues confronting the CGEs at the meet.
The Reception Committee extends heartiest welcome to the esteemed Guest/ Councilors and observers who will be coming over to Delhi to participate in the meeting.
The Reception Committee will also make arrangements for tea, snacks etc. on 4th December 2009, lunch, dinner, tea etc. on 5th and 6th. A token amount of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only per Delegate/Observer/Visitor shall be charged as Delegate fee plus food expenses for two days. Arrangements for Stay and Accommodation for councilors representing affiliated Association/ Federation are to be made by the respective affiliates. Kindly get in touch with them.
In the first week of December, climate at Delhi will be cold and delegates are requested to come with adequate warm clothing.
