DHARNA AT CHENNAI PROTESTING AGAINST THE ORDERS OF THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL TO SHIFT THE EMPLOYEES COOPERATIVE SOCIETY FROM AG' S OFFICE COMPOUND. COM DURAI PANDIAN ADDRESSING.

SOLAIPUR IS A VILLAGE IN NORTH DINAJPUR. INHABITANTS ARE POOR ADIVASIS. DEVASTATION CAUSED BY RECENT FLOOD THREW THEM TO MOST WRETCHED CONDITION. UNPRECEDENTED FAILURE OF THE INSENSITIVE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE THEM RELIEF AND REHABILITATION CAUSED MORE HELPLESSNESS. UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES COORDINATION COMMITTEE OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT . . . DECIDED TO STAND BY THE VILLAGERS OF SOLAIPUR. WITH A LITTLE MORE THAN THREE LAKHS RUPEES COLLECTED FROM CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, CLOTHES AND RATION ( TO BE LOADED AT RAIGUNGE) HAVE BEEN PROCURED. A TEAM OF COORDINATION COMMITTEE COMPRISED OF JANARDAN MAJUMDER, ARUP CHATERJEE, MONOJ SHAW, MANISHA MAJUMDER AND SUSHANTA CHAKRABORTY LEFT FOR SOLAIPUR THIS EVENING RADHIKAPUR EXPRESS WITH PROCURED MATERIALS. SUBRATA CHOWDHURY AND SOME MORE COMRADE WILL JOIN THEM AT RAIGUNGE TOMORROW. ALL MATERIALS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TOMORROW AMONG THE VILLAGERS. -  Pijush Roy
